On Veterans Day, at the VA center at Fort Whipple, Prescott Arizona, The Rough Riders took first place. In front of our troop was our Chief Trumpeter Dan Taylor, as he presented our voice and the voice of the past with passion and extreme proficiency.
This original stamp was for the 50th Anniversary of the Rough Riders. This particular stamp was first day of issue, post marked 10-27-48 Prescott, Arizona. A great find of a little-bit of history.
